LITERACY ISSUES
By tradition, literacy has been frequently defined as the capability to read and write at a sufficient level of proficiency that is necessary for communication. Moreover, literacy has got several meaning which I can give you some examples as; Technological literacy, Mathematical literacy, and visual literacy. It is not easy to measure the degree to which literacy has an contact on an individual’s overall happiness. My point of view, increase in literacy will lead to the development of an individual’s life and improvement of societies.

Literacy has promised a new way of thinking, a new social definition, and new economic competence to the individual. At the collective level literacy has promised modernisation of institutions and cultural renewal of societies in the entire world.

The economic desperation in some part of the world may not allow for vigorous development of whole language. One effect of the decompose of education in some countries is the resurgence of illiteracy in all levels of the school system.

In conclusion, my perspective, entire world leaders must be consider literacy issues world at large to bring literacy to adequate level. This is the key fact of reducing main problems and complex issues such as unemployed and environmental crisis.

Nowadays illiteracy is a big problem in many countries and not only in poor ones, but also in Australia and USA, where statistic shows that this phenomenon is on the increase. The situation is very worrying because it is not only a matter of education but also has a great social impact.

There are many possible causes and its effect on society like for example rising number of individuals getting involved with crime. People, who cannot write or read, are more likely to commit a crime than other because they are not able to find good job, which could satisfy them. Statistic shows that more than 60% of prisoners are illiterate.

Another problem is with migrants. A lot of them coming without knowing basic communication skills and more often they are concentrate on finding work and earning money for living than finding time to gain English literacy skills. Usually they do not put a lot of effort to buy books or other educational resources.

In conclusion illiteracy is really serious problem and government should do more to reduce it, because it has negative influence for society. In my point of view illiterate people are not able to have a normal life and communicate with other people without any problems because without basic knowledge of reading and writing they cannot make right decision choosing for example a president.

There are a number of reasons why illiteracy in developed countries has gone up and this problem has severe consequences for many countries. One clear reason is the rise of immigration in developed countries. Many immigrants have had little or no education in their country of origin and therefore often cannot write in English. It is estimated that 40 million Americans cannot read or write more than to sign their own name which is a big problem as it prevents these people from finding adequate jobs. This often leads to crime, which is shown, as they illiteracy rates are very high in American prisons.

Poverty is also another reason for high illiteracy rates in a developed country as often the benefits of proper education are not as apparent for people who cannot even afford to buy enough food. Often parents are not as focused on their children’s education and serious learning difficulties. This is a problem in Australia especially among the indigenous people, and is estimated that more than a third of whom do not meet the minimum literacy standard. Many of these people often have limited access to education due to location and also poor health standards. Indigenous homes are also more likely to have fewer books, computers and other educational resources than other homes. This greatly affects the development of the indigenous people, their ability to integrate with the non-indigenous community and progress from the poverty that many live in.

To summarize this can create a large scale of inequality in both the USA and Australia as people who are illiterate are often considered to be inferior and are more likely to be poor. This leads to a vicious circle of people who are poor and cannot earn more money because of illiteracy.

Illiteracy is in contradiction to development and progress and it means not able to read or write, literally. Although there are significance numbers in the third-world who have not the elementary education, it is not uncommon in developed country like the USA and Australia. Apart from functional illiteracy which is a medical term, there are several causes concerned to the illiteracy.

The first reason is immigration. Immigrated people usually have problem with second language and they are included in illiterate population. Thus these specific two mentioned country consist of a considerable number of immigration.

The next point is poverty or low income. Parents with low salary can not support or persuade their children. In addition, children have to leave school and start working from early age, because of economical confliction. Lack of efficient and effectual teachers is the third point. In fact, teachers have a great effect on reducing numbers of illiteracy, emotionally and professionally.

Moreover, illiteracy leads to crime and antisocial behavior. Illiterate population often earns the lowest income and family problems who grew up in suburban area and these all lead to society problem and more crime.

In conclusion, literacy seems to be a satisfactory accomplished which is recommended eradicating to improve social life. The third-world because of poverty, suffer more from illiteracy, whereas the number of the illiterate people is increasing gradually in the USA and Australia. Economic and family problems are the main points which have to be concerned in these two particular countries.

The most recent statistics available for that the proportion of the local population thet can not read or write increased. In most countries, for example, however India currently has the largest illiterate population of any nationon earth.Despite goverment programs,India literacy rate increased.

In most of way learners can become aware of what is happening in the world? But today more than million adults can not read or write and over 100 million children don't have access to basic education. Moreover, illiteracy is linked to poverty, inequality and exclusion from social life. Thus literacy is most important part of human life.Because without education individuals has a big problem.

In my opinion,it's hard to make bold statements about the persentages of illiterate countries, considering that there are varying levels and different types of literacy, with such a large migrant population. For example, some migrants arriving in USA and Australia may not have time to gain English or studying literacy skills.Instead they concentrate on finding work and earning aliving, that's why they are people who are from poor families.

On the other hand, illiteracy levels among Australia's and USA indigenous people are much higher than the rest of the country and there are most students they don't have literacy skills that are good enough to allow them to meet real life challenges.

In conclusion, there are a number of reasons, why some people have very limited reading and writing skills.in my point of view, adult attitudes to education can also affect their literacy.because some adults believe that, they are too old or simply an unrecognised or untreated learning difficulty.

The deffinition of illiteracy differs from country to country. In some parts of the world someone is concidered illiterate who can not read and write at all, wereas in other parts someone who has an equivalent level to the sexth grade or below is regarded as illiterate. However there are many factors for causing this desease which have numerous negative impacts on society.
In a country like the USA what can be attributed for this issue? To identify the problem many researchers point out factors such as poverty and poor education, and they put all the blame on the government. In fact poverty does not cause illiteracy because while technology has taken over people's lives, children prefer to play the latest video games instead of studing. Besides, unstable family life is another common reason and plays a huge role in this issue.

America may not have a largely illiterate population but somehow the effects coused by this on such a developed country must be enormous. The effected people may see this as a disability as they have to endure numbers of obstracles in their daily life.Imagine you are not able to understand a manual of a machine you have been so anxious to have or not be able to complete a job aplication.

To tackle the problem, the government needs to undertake various ways to inhibit illiteracy, because despite of everything the authorities negelence can not be excluded from this matter. They need to carry out new regulations in order to make people aware of this problem so they don't need to feel detached from society.

Illiteracy
Nowadays, one of the main problems is illiteracy in the world after the poverty and politic crises. The literacy is ability of reading and writing. Statistically, UK has been ranked as one of the high ratio illiterate adults; one in five adults is illiterate.
To reduce this figure, the Government is trying to find the solution by running some courses at Colleges, and Family Learning Centres to persuade adults who their reading and writing is poor to attend those courses, for reparation the chance to attain what they have missed at school.
Some people think that their children don’t required to be educated, because they can have superior life by investment and their own business. People who can’t find themselves in education field, they may have not any motivation and ambition or evaluation for education, especially at their ages, and they can’t assess the education procedure at all, they need explanation and encouragement till they understand and realise that they can be a supportive character in the society. There is a proverb it says: (If you want an educative generation, you must have educated mothers).
In the (Third World countries) there are so many disadvantage people of education, parents are excused when they draw out their children from the school, they are not able to afford their school expenses and they employee them to support their families. That’s beside wars, vagrancy, explosions, kidnapping, discriminations, killing, burning villages and towns, spraying chemical on people burying people and they still a life, all these pressures don’t make people to give up, they always fight the ignorance to have a better life.
In my experience, I think it’s a good idea to don’t allow children from the primary school to pass the stage if they are not capable to read and write very well, I prefer they stay in the same class even for more than one year if it’s required.

Should wealthy nations be requried to share their wealth among poorer nations by providing such things as food and education? Or is it responsibility of the goverments of poorer nations to look after their citizens themselves.

Poorer residents may gain a several helps by wealthy nations but Goverments have to take care these persons and provide all life's requirments.

On the one hand,it is an excelent behavior to well off for take some responsibilities about these people who reqiure some helps. For instance, if a wealthy person can pay fees of a course for a clever student who can not finish an university since he has not enough salary for all an essential of life, it is very great job.Furthermore donation by human has many benefits , one of them it causes to closness among families, kingdoms and friends.

On the othe hand, Goverments have to take all requirements of residents.Especially in food and education site.Poorer people should not have in the countries which have a good economic ranges. In addition, Goverment shoud give a significant amount of money by a loan to these students who interest to educate in universities. Also everbody in each country has a right to gain foods easily.
In conclusion, poor nations may not be gain enough helps by rich people. So Goverments must be careful about citizens and make more facilities for students to complet thes corses which need a significant money.

Illiteracy is one of the most important problems which people from around the world have been dealing with. Illiteracy in some countries like Australia and United States are increasing. There are possible reasons for this fact that has significant impact on society.
The illiteracy in Australia and United states has specific reasons. In general these countries are two of the largest places in the world and their population are growing. Statistically, these countries have elevated rate of immigration. Lots of immigrants do not have sufficient knowledge of second language. As a result, they have huge effect on illiteracy rate in these countries.
Another reason which is considerable is expenses of education. Most of people with low income cannot afford to pay the costs of education .consequently, they could not have the opportunity for learning and this issue will boost the illiteracy percentage.
Nowadays the technology is developing rapidly. People will become dependent on features of modern life. The lack of ability to read and write has the tremendous effect on society. Each country has the priority to employ qualified workforce to develop in economical aspects. Uneducated people are deprived from any qualifications to find jobs.
In my opinion illiteracy lead to crime and anti-social behaviour .The costs of life is rising and people have to work hard to solve their financial problems. When illiterate people face these problems they have to earn money in illegal ways.
In conclusion, the capability to read and write is one of the vital factors in our lives.illitracy cause negative effects on society and countries should find the practical solution to tackle this issue.

In most countries around the world, illiteracy has become like a disease. So many people does not know how to read or write, which makes it difficult for one to face everyday life, especially when it comes to reading, nowadays life is all about reading. There are many reasons to why some people can not read or write. In third world many folks are unable to read or write simply because they can not afford to pay for the education that they need.On the other hand, in some countries where people are privileged enough to get the basic of literacy for free,or even study up to a degree level without paying anything, we find that there are people still suffers from illiteracy disease as i like to call it, because they cant be bothered going to school or college.Young people need to know that education is the key to a better future. Therefore studding should be taken rather seriously.

In my opinion i think it's kind of somethings we take for granted that we have a such a high literacy rate.only the elite well to do could efford the education to learn the later, and most people got alone fine not been able to read or wtite. however, most people could recognize a few common things bein able to read a simple signs and numbers but they couldn't decipher a page from a book what do you think if you live in the world that still was like that?where the majority of people didn't learning this latters, and got along more or less fine?would you think it's important to change it? how could you convince people who insested that they got alone fine without it.but with regard to numbers and mathematically illerate, and have no interest in changing that weatehr observing girls matching boys abilities at the high school level in math and sience, but they are still seeing girl pursue technical major in college at the distant fraction of the rate of boys. futheremore in this question i'm mostly just interesting in people interpretation of the importance of the educations. well i would insist that mathematicall and literacy is become more and more important as long we go deeper in to the informations. moreover we are largely econimical hampered in fact most of the population could't really understanding most of the techonology and sience of the modern age.i dont think that any kind of education or leteracy open doors not only for profetions. but for passions and hobbiesand aspects of our personalities.
